The Community Forest Trust (CFT) supports, enables and champions the work of the 15 Community Forests across England who, in turn, create woodlands that ensure urban areas are economically, socially, and environmentally more sustainable and resilient for everyone. Collectively we strive to enhance the environment for both people and wildlife.

CFT is a Company Limited by Guarantee and a Registered Charity.
We support 4 subsidiary bodies that sit within the CFT group: Community Forest Land Trust (CFLT) – established to purchase and hold land, The Mersey Forest Foundation (MFF) – established to provide fundraising capacity and administer funds, Cumbria (Raise) Community Forest and Tees Community Forest.
