Claire Morgan - Chief Executive
With 25 years’ experience in management, Claire has worked in England and Wales for local authorities, the Civil Service and charity sector. Her career has spanned environmental sustainability, community development, social enterprise, economic development, health and social care.
Wanting to return to her environmental roots, Claire joined CFT in June 2025.
Clare Olver - Programmes Manager
Clare has been involved in strategic land management for 30 years and before that worked in the private waste sector.
Before joining the Community Forest Trust, Clare worked for the Mersey Forest on a number of large-scale projects.
Ben Buggy - Finance Manager
Ben came to CFT at the start of 2024, with nine years finance experience across a range of industries including private aviation, property development and advertising.
Ben manages finance across CFT core work, our subsidiaries and the community forests.
Jodie Coghill - Finance and Operations Officer
Jodie joined us in December 2025, and is passionate about contributing to work that directly addresses the climate crisis.
With previous experience working as a Senior Finance Officer, Jodie has a strong knowledge of operational finance in the charity sector, specialising in purchasing and sales ledger.
